The Entertainment Leadership Academy, LLC (ELA) is an organization that focuses on assisting creatives by introducing them to leadership in terms of thinking of themselves and their talents as a business. As the leaders of their own businesses, attaining success and sustaining it goes beyond formally starting a company and creating a business plan. Even for those artists that already have a manager and lawyer, they still need to realize the importance of taking charge of their careers and developing into the successful, full-time artists they always dreamed of becoming.
We recognized a need for creatives to learn about leadership and also how to be leaders of their own creative businesses. Our approach is Holistic because we focus on the interconnection of art, business and the health and wellness of our clients. ELA adopted the slogan "Your Art is Your Business" with the goal of motivating creatives to obtain the leadership training they need and deserve in order to create longevity in the entertainment industry.

About Our Founder

Dr. India Dorsey-Gaston, Ph.D., artistically known as, Indi Tyton, is an International Singer/Songwriter and Filmmaker. She is a Business Psychologist that specializes in leadership and career development in the Entertainment Industry. Dr. Indi is also the CEO of Famous on Purpose, LLC, a music and film production company. She has over 20 years of experience in entertainment working in various capacities and leads from a holistic perspective.
Dr. Indi's strong belief that artists should be empowered with leadership training, lead her to utilize her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and master's degrees in Psychology, Public Health Education and Entertainment Business to create Entertainment Leadership Academy, LLC. |
